In many places between Ponoka and Edmonton, The Leduc Sub feels like you’re stepping back in time. ABS territory with search light signals, that are connected to the intact and in service pole line; along with relay boxes at regular intervals. It makes for a great place to shoot a relic from the past like the CP 2816. Seen here blasting through Menaik, Alberta and by what could be an old CP structure, no doubt dating back to a time when steam was king on the northern Prairies.
