On a very late Winter's day in February, we find the London Pickup stopped at the Galt Station getting paperwork. They've just arrived from Guelph Junction and will go north onto the Waterloo Sub to grab their cut of autoracks to bring to London. Built in 1899, with a freight shed built in 1900, both buildings still stand today and are used by MOW crews. The CP (now CPKC) Holiday train will stop here for an event once a year, which is why there's Christmas lights on the outside, at least there was in the early 2000's.

  1. Note this was the regular power for the Pickup for the better part of 10 years at this point. Usually the same SD40-2′s for months on end until one needed inspection. London to the Junction, turning back with a late afternoon departure back west.

  2. I remember those days. Regular SD40-2s around and not another soul out shooting them.

  3. Shit! This is picture 1500 for me!! I was going to pick something else!!
