The new VIA corporation is in its early years, and CN 6777 has not yet been painted to match a few of the coaches in consist. The lunch hour train has just entered the Dundas Sub off of the Oakville on its journey westward.
On the left is the old helper track where steam engines used to wait to assist heavy freights up the long hill thru Copetown back in the day; and note a green up for an eastbound on the right. Bayview used to be a busy spot.
Now? Off limits.

  1. Nice.. who has that sign :)

  2. It sure as heck isn’t me, Mr. Host. But I sure wish.
I would assume those guys from the CN MoW gang probably cut it in half and tossed it.
    Enough to make one weep.
