I think we all hoped that we'd see KCS leaders when the merger happened. I didn't expect that it would become so common as to be routine. I expect a fleet renumbering at some point to put all the similar types in similar number brackets, and avoid the very unlikely chance of CP 5000 meeting KCS 5000 in the same paint.But today, it's just a lot of colour.

  2. I don’t see a fleet renumbering happening, CN has never bothered, even though they have plenty of number series that conflict between IC and CN, among others.
