Nearly 48 hours since the last edition of CN 529 passed here with the CNJ heritage unit leading (no CN 529 ran yesterday), the new D&H heritage unit (NS 1080) leads CN 529 westwards, making its first run in Canada. Yesterday it made its first run up the D&H (as CPKC 929).

  1. Somebody in Montreal is packing horseshoes.

  2. Lucky.

  3. Nice catch. I thought D&H was part of the now CPKC franchise.

  4. The northern half still is. CP sold the line south of Schenectady to NS a few years ago.

My understanding is this power came up to Montreal via the D&H line.
