During a sweltering July day, CP SW1200RSm 1270 (ex-CP 8150) works the National Steel Car facility deep in the industrial core of Hamilton, Ontario. CP 1270 was retired in October 2003 and was sold to Rail Trusts Equipment (RTEX). The unit was later resold to the St. Marys Railroad in Georgia and was repainted and renumbered to 506.

    Very nice. Amazing how much money Greg Aziz put into the place in the next few years with the new paint shop as an example.

    Thanks Steve. This was just a quick grab shot if I remember correctly. Looking back I wish we would have followed them down there a bit.
