In this view one can see the orders up by hoop as CP 5528, 5508 passes westbound on a nice cool March morning.That white on purple porcelain namesign is a treasure too. I have often wondered where it ended up.

    the operator hooping that train is Earl Fitzpatrick..a real gentleman..
    Arnold, your photo was taken 31 yrs ago, but seems like yesterday to me..

    Thanks Ronald: Times flies for all of us, especially when we leave the working scene. Now you have me wondering if Earl is related to the former operator and “Mayor” of Franz (ON) Reginald Fitzpatrick. From what I know of him he was an exceptional kind soul as well.
