Guelph Jct was not the same after the agent and the station disappeared in the later 1980s. In this view one can see the orders up by hoop as CP 5528, 5508 passes westbound on a nice cool March morning.That white on purple porcelain namesign is a treasure too.  I have often wondered where it ended up.

  2. Thanks Ronald: Times flies for all of us, especially when we leave the working scene. Now you have me wondering if Earl is related to the former operator and “Mayor” of Franz (ON) Reginald Fitzpatrick. From what I know of him he was an exceptional kind soul as well.
