Perspective: Here we see CN L509 pulling into the yard at London the day after the four-day "Snowmageddon" storm dumped almost 120cm of snow on the city. The sky has cleared, and most of the streets are cleared, giving me the unusual opportunity to shoot from on top of a snow pile that was taller than I am. So here I am almost 14 feet above street level, almost level with the nose of CN 2421; while I am not fond of the cold, a well-placed snow pile can yield a neat photo op!

  1. Thats a nice shot.
And it sure beats hauling out a stepladder. :o )

  2. Yeah, and it doesn’t hurt as much to fall off of a snowhill as it does a ladder!
