It has been 30 years already…….these units were all retired before the end of 1983; perhaps that is why they never managed to sport the new ‘VIA’ paint scheme. So well behaved? Didn’t railfans change the oil in their cars in that pit at the bottom of your picture!?!

Yes, they did for awhile. But I am almost positive that pit was where the outhouse stood over up until 1976 or so. Hopefully the guilty railfans got oiled as well.

Yes, they did for awhile. But I am almost positive that pit was where the outhouse stood over up until 1976 or so. Hopefully the guilty railfans got oiled as well.
