Back in the mid-90s the CP wasn't the only road to serve up surprise lashups. Here, we see CN's #410 coming east around the bend approaching the roadbridge now known as "Snake" (but was Bayview E in my notes back then)with a colourful lashup complete with a smoky turbo. CN 9596, LMS 723, 222, GT 6216, VIA 6419 and CN 9431 make for an interesting sighting on an otherwise typical dull grey December day.

  2. I was just about to post the same comment as James…so what he said I agree with :)

  3. Thanks. Sheesh!!! I hate these ‘brain fogs’. I kept thinking about 9431 when I was pondering a caption and I KNEW there was something I should have remembered about that unit.

  4. Now this is a killer lashup, I love it

  5. Thanks for your appreciation, Docta. But aren’t we posting enough to keep you happy that you have to backtrack into the old stuff? LOL Sure lots to look at on this site now.
