The Circus comes to town!!! On its way to Toronto, the Barnum & Bailey Circus Train is seen rolling thru the siding on approach to Montrose Yard. Power is CP 5550 and 5478, a 'B' unit, as the cab is boarded up. The Minolta Tower is now engulfed in new commercial buildings and the railroad no longer extends much farther than the South Siding Switch here at the Chippawa Spur.

  1. What an awesome shot! We were in Niagara Falls that day too. Dad called our schools and said that both Greg and I were sick. The one and only day I skipped school. Mom was none too happy… :o )

  2. Thanks/Merci: Dad was the smart one that day. You’ll always remember the adventure being out for the Circus Train but the Old Trout has probably completely forgotten about that episode by now.
