Cape Breton & Central Nova Scotia #2035 rolls downgrade into Mitchell, Ontario as the Goderich & Exeter train heads east to Stratford. Problems would soon arise for 2035 as it stalled near Stratford. As a result of the cold temperatures the air started blew on the unit rendering it, along with the already dead GEXR 180, useless. The ex-BN GP40 would be the sole power to bring the train into Stratford as they had to quadruple the train into town. Sadly 2035 would never be repaired and this would be the last time it was seen running.

    Mighty interesting narrative. I often wondered about this unit, having seen it dead in Goderich some years back.
