Back in 2006, EMD locomotive products were still coming out of London, ON. On occasion, they would test run new locomotives on GEXR, which was really cool! Here is 432 with a really unique power set: BNSF 9370 (a brand-new SD70ACe) and GEXR 4019. What a contrast.

  1. Well that settles it then. I wonder when it was removed. Either way, I never did try that side of the bridge until 2015….

  2. Yes, I was on the north side (Hwy 7 behind me). This side of the bridge dosn’t seem to be captured as much, probably because of the lighting. This day was nice and uniformly cloudy. Much different now. The bridge was neat back then with the simple “twas now” tag.

  3. Curious Kevin, Highway 7 was behind you no? Notice the pole line on the other side of this bridge..

If i’m correct, the shot I’ve been doing for a few years would not be possible in this era owing to those wires. So sometime between 2004 and 2014? they removed the pole line through there.

  4. Yup.. really nice!!

This bridge span is littered with profanity now..

  5. Notice the “ACE” on the bridge span.

  6. Great shot!
