  1. Now this certainly is an interesting capture of history!

  2. Weren’t the first 10 built at GMD then the balance in Calgary? And at this time wasn’t there only one (this one) that had passed all the tests and was being used in line haul service, and the rest still at GMD for “teething issues”?

    That’s what I heard. Or am I wrong?

  3. Some where built in London. The teething issues were handled in Winnepeg. You might be confusing these with the SD40 Red Barns that had major issues and spent lots of time back at GMD

  4. I wonder how you can handle that in Winnipeg as when they are dragged to Toronto, or used, you’d find this stuff out. London is a lot closer on the map than Winnipeg. I’d imagine CP would use them straight from the Test House once all the paperwork had been signed off.
