RLHH 3404 leads a very late running 597 through Hagersville Ontario on a dreary and rainy Friday at 1300. SD40's 3404 and 3403 along with GP40-2W 3049 had a massive train of 80 cars in check as they blasted through town. I was questioning my sanity standing in the rain and I'm sure the crew was too, but it was worth the drive to Hagersville. A timely heads up from my sister that 597 was in Caledonia provided me with enough time to catch up to train.

  1. Hey, you’re a train buff. I am sure your sanity has been questioned by many, and often :o )

  2. Sweet catch! I’ve got to make it down there again one day.

  3. WOW! Days of railroading are good for the SOR!!! 3 engines and 80 cars in tow? Miss capturing this road since I moved to Chatham at the end of last year.
