Back when Amtrak used to run across the 'raceway' from Windsor over the International Bridge, we see AMTK 404 and 405 just passing mile 2 (from Fort Erie) on what I am guessing was known as the Conrail Main in 1978. I'm sure I will get some corrections. I have very few notes on this area and the whole line thru to Windsor, and there seemed to be many timeline changes. These must have been deep dark days for Amtrak. Far cry from what it is now. Incidentally, the line the train is running on is long gone, pulled up in the 1990s.

  4. Sorry for the random comment there, It was the conrail fort erie branch from 1976 to 1985, then it became the CP fort erie subdivision.
