  1. Great shot Matt! On my last trip out that way we saw that bridge but unfortunately the train we were chasing was already across it :(

  2. Breath-taking!! Yeah, a place I need to see for myself. Someday.

  3. Really nice.

  4. What a great scene and shot, awesome bridge!

  5. This is excellent! A smaller version of the MILW’s structure at Beverly, WA., albeit one with trains using it.

Is this bridge very accessible? Drive to or walk in?

  6. Mike Lockwood- You can drive right into the little gravel pit I took this shot from but I wouldn’t want to try i in the heat of a chase, I seem to recall it took a little bit of poking around to find.

craigandru- Thanks, it’s definitely not a typical scene that one thinks of when they think of Saskatchewan.

    mberry- Thanks

awmooney- Its worth it, the only downside is that this line can be tedious at times for getting trains in daylight.

Marcus Stevens- I remember that, didn’t you do a tele-shot of the train-less bridge from the highway? But I can’t feel too bad for you considering most of the stuff you guys shot on that 2001 trip docent even exist anymore!

I’ll post another shot of this bridge looking the other way.

  7. Thanks Matt, excellent news. Plan on heading out that way in Sept/Oct, and this spot is definitely on the to-do list.

  8. Mike, you are making someone here rather jealous.
