I was rather surprised to see this old MLW C-630M #2035 in the GEXR yard at Goderich on one frosty winters' day. On loan, I guess, from the East. This was the largest locomotive I had ever seen on the GEXR, and to be honest I don't think it ever turned a mile in revenue service. Anyone know? According to the Trackside Guide this former CN 2035 was cut up for parts in 1999.

  2. Love the Rampant!

  3. I believe it did 1 (maybe 2) trips max. Whatever trip it was on it failed just after departure. I forget if it was westbound or eastbound.

  4. I believe it made one or two trips but wound up suffering some type of mechanical failure and was sent back East soon after.
