Picking up on Doug's theme, here is another CP detour train passing the CN yard in Niagara Falls. CP train 526 is powered by a group of SD40 variants: SD40s 6411 and SD40s 5534 and four SD40-2s. In the foreground we have three pair of GP9RMs based out of Niagara Falls for local service as well as a set of road power (likely from train 449 which will turn on evening train 448 to MacMillan Yard). Hard to believe that this is all gone now...

    Very nice! I was always intrigued with how they changed the number boards on the GP9m rebuilds…I got my 4112 model wrong as it has the same font 4104! Great photo.

    Arnold Mooney caught this train at St. Catharines; complete consist is: CPRS 6411, CP 5534, CPRS 5606, CP 5669, 5755 and 5668.

    Brad, another thing about those number boards, the 4104 board font? Those are glass boards. The others are plastic.
