I was fortunate to have stumbled upon CP's A08 assignment to Coutts, AB / Sweetgrass, MT., and a connection with the BNSF, as I was myself headed to the border crossing this day. CP 6261, 6309, and 6251 lead the way past the surviving wheat kings at Warner. 1309hrs.

  1. Thanks guys. Arnold, as I recall there were cars at the elevator on the east side of Hwy 4 at the junction, but I did not venture along the line to Foremost.

  2. Mike…did you check to see if there had been any activity at all on the line over to Foremost? I would imagine it shuts down over the winter months.

  3. Not only is this a great shot, I would have to agree you were lucky. Going thru that area from Shelby a couple of years ago it didn’t look like all that much traffic ran on that stretch.
You did REALLY well catching this. Amazing!!!I’d give you two stars if I could. :o )

  4. Super winter scene. Nice work, Mike.
