My annual trip to see action on the St. Thomas sub, which for the last few years has featured a pair of F units. You just can't go wrong with OSR. I was hopeful for some snow action, but there was almost none to be had save for a few road plow drifts. I have to take a day off work for this, and each year something new would pop in with another F unit painted, finally, both are painted and now we have this matching pair, on a blue sky day, with white fields covered in fresh snow. You know what? I think the OSR colours really show nicely in winter, despite the plain nose of 1401/6508 it really pops. I also enjoy how the tilling of the farmers fields forms a nice pattern in the snow. With thanks to the boys for the friendliness and the show, I promised I'd post something today, there's much more to come, I had a great and productive day. :) This is approaching Ferguson line not too far from St. Thomas city limits.

  1. I like shooting at this crossing too

  2. It’s one of the better crossing shots for sure.

  3. I believe I shot the frame train at this crossing around 1997-1998 or so. I remember it being a similar scene so I’m glad to see it’s still untouched.
