With CN having taken-back operations of the Guelph Subdivision over two months ago, the motive-power operating on jobs has almost had a retro feel amongst the modern-painted GMTX four-axle power assigned. Era's collide at Kitchener yard on the coldest day of 2019 so far, as train L568 departs on the left for Stratford with GMTX 2323, CN 4028 and GMTX 2279 as train L540 waits in the siding with CN 1439 and GMTX 2289 after returning from Guelph.

  1. Any idea why they are juggling all the units around?

  2. Thank you.

  3. Last night A431 set-off CN 4130 and GMTX 2255 at Kitchener.

  4. So, comparing to 1/26, where did all the motive power go? GMTX 2323 appeared to be gone? As well, 4028 was slated to leave last night on 431… leaving only 3 units assigned to Kitchener.
