Even though it was the first of October, it was a steamy morning. I checked out the SOR (former CN) yard while in the area and there is the pair of former CN switchers, 1359 and 1367 with 3 scale test cars! Only time I have seen three together. Unfortunately, the only one I noted was the former cylindrical hopper, a 34' ore car, #52285, which was converted to a scale car back in 1993. My eyes were just not sharp enough to note the others.

  1. Thanks. No, only about a half dozen were made to scale cars. No idea on the rest. Hopefully someone on RP will take the time to inform us.

  2. Nice catch Arnold, do you know what happened to the rest of the ore car’s ?
