  1. Taking a closer look I see the 4784 is still in stripes (they appear to be the ones where the white has turned rust coloured), I love the look of the old zebra’s. :-)

  2. They were full unit trains.. I believe they would bring them down in parts, load them, bring back, go for another cut..

    took a few days to load..

    I never did see one.

  3. Oh man, if only again. That scene is from an Eric Kruis dvd, it has a lot of good footage of that train, they looked like some pretty large trains when they did run.

    You guys seen the six axle power that used to down there on grain unit trains? Happened a few times a year… until the end too.

  6. Yes usually once a week, although some weeks they don’t run. Come fall it’s not uncommon for them to make a couple extra runs per week to Blenheim.
