We waited at Haynes (7 miles east of Joffre) for quite some time for the 550 to arrive. With only a 50mm lens at my disposal, I managed a less than satisfactory image. ( I would chase the 550 again soon, and the elevator at Haynes, quite similar to the one in Joffre, would be gone.
I do not believe the Joffre elevator had much life left either.

  1. Neat shot Steve.

4777 was one of the first units that was assigned to Kitchener, Ontario after CN took back operations of the Guelph Subdivision from the Goderich-Exeter Railway in November 2018.
