Westbound CP freight is seen crawling up the grade to the Guelph Line crossing in Campbellville. Power problems of some unknown description his this train almost to a stall. Of interest (for the fans) is the locomotive combination; an SD40 5502 on the lead with a rare GP30 #5000 (one of two on CP)trailing.
The GP30, long retired, now resides at the Alberta Railway Museum and the SD was sold off to HELM in 1999.
Almost mid-April here and there is still snow on the ground. Ugh.
