Beautiful sunny February day. What I have marked as CP #526, behind CP 5502, SOO 763, CP 4220, HLCX 3679 and CP 1853 rolls under the High Level bridge heading into Hamilton and eventually the USA. The tail end is still going by Bayview Jct, just out of sight on the extreme right. Construction is the expansion of the CP line into Hamilton, allowing smoother GO service into the city. CN track to Niagara linking with the Grimsby sub is on the right.

    Nice shot! CP really had great lashups back in the mid-90s. My childhood memories :)

    Also back when CP used to take the Oakville Sub…I recall Bayview being a flurry of activity back in those days.

    Interesting to watch all of this happen all over again with the triple tracking project.. basically.. (but on the other side) over the last few years.
