Oh boy, what an awful day. I was just on my way back into Burlington and then home after shooting the Westinghouse Plant switcher in Hamilton (RP #17238) and happened across what appears to be a Port Robinson-Toronto train, so stopped and grabbed this image from the hillside as the train was within a stones throw of Hamilton Junction. The power I recorded as CN 9555,9460, 9589 and 4569. The old section house shack along the line dates this image. These places have pretty well disappeared. It may be a cruddy weather photo, but I would much rather be out in a day like this than one where the sun has set me to broil as it has been these past days.

  1. @A.W.Mooney: Hahaha. You better get used to it. 30 deg C plus for the next week and a bit. Very cool image (literally!). Was it taken in another snowstorm ramping up? Man, I miss snowstorms. We don’t get any big ones anymore it seems. Just heat in the summer…

  2. Wonderful atmosphere Arnold! Fabulous that you included the section house.
