  1. We used to see this power around quite a bit back then. I liked the basic style of these GPs. Those look like the cars used for shipping airplane parts in situated behind the head end power. I used to see this train going west, but do not recall seeing them coming back east empty. Very nice image.

  2. Awesome pic. Yes those were indeed UP wing cars. They usually sat on the south service track near the Woodbine Racetrack. The Malport jobs used to bring the loaded cars out to send to Mac Yrd before they headed west. Not sure the destination?

  4. Should be train 476 out of Windsor.
    Aircraft wings went to Long Beach Calif (N&W from Detroit – Kansas City)
