  1. Nice critter meet and timing with the truck.

  2. Nice. Do you ever get hassled by Stelco security on Wilcox St? Years ago you would, but it seems pretty quiet there nowadays.

  3. Oh yeah. Gotta be mindful. It’s one of many spots where I hit and run haha.

  4. Yes they are known to kick you off if you linger, recently.

  5. Shoot it and boot it. It’d be neat to see up close, but I suspect this is about as good as you can get!

  6. Oh they do cross the crossing Rob.. I shot it a few months ago.. in beautiful light.. but my camera goofed up hard and nothing turned out and that was the only move they made… right place right time, but wrong camera. LOL. I figure i’ll see it again, I’m down there often enough. If you are ever down there and hear something on 161.100 that’s them.

  7. I’ve seen it a few times over the past year or so. Always just a chance occurrence. I have some closer shots as well from those other times. I can post a roster/detail shot some time.

Admittedly the composition of this one leaves a bit to be desired but it was the best I was able to do from a meet shot perspective (the other beltpack operator soon appeared and walked in front of everything on their way to the gate). I think meets are pretty unlikely. I sent it to a CN guy and he was shocked to see RC out while CN was around. Figured the unlikely nature of the occurrence helped overcome its other shortcomings haha. Doubt I’m ever able to repeat this.

  8. Whenever you feel so inclined Mr. Knott, I would appreciate seeing a closer shot of the contraption.
