As at 1982 the TT #911 future: to Chile in 1988 renumbered FCAB 1415. A total of seventeen NF210 sisters, in 1988 and 1994, have been acquired by FCAB: British company name: Antofagasta (Chili) & Bolivia Railway or FCAB for short.

Noteworthy: FCAB outbound traffic ( to the ocean freighters) is nitrate ( for explosives), copper and more recently lithium brine. Inbound traffic is sulfuric acid. The FCAB railway is now part of the transport division of mining company Antofagasta plc.

  1. Beautiful capture Steve! So delighted you are sharing more of your Newfoundland gems, well done! As you know, at the time of your photo, one could still board from here a G8 hauled mixed train to both the Argentia and Carbonear branchlines on alternate days except for Sunday. Fortunately, this station is preserved and is now home to the Railway Coastal Museum where I volunteer.
