Very interesting series of pictures, just like today with VIA putting a LRC car on the back end of heritage cars for “buffer” purpose – only the blue cars are now silver cars and the motive power is a little different. Amazing what 39 years difference brings, and in another few years, probably all the LRC and much of the silver heritage equipment will also be gone, John
