Operating over CP on their way to Agincourt Yard, TH&B GP7 77 and GP9's 401 & 403 hustle eastbound on CP's Belleville Sub around Mile 198 (on the approach to McCowan), passing over Sheppard Avenue near International Waxes (off to the left) in Scarborough. This is likely the CP/TH&B Starlight from Aberdeen Yard, coming off the TH&B at Hamilton Junction and taking CN's Oakville Sub, CP's Canpa Sub, Galt Sub, North Toronto Sub and Belleville Sub to CP's Agincourt (Toronto) Yard.

By this late in the game, TH&B's tired fleet of unrebuilt first generation GP7 and GP9 locomotives were on their last legs, and the Geeps were being run until major failures sidelined them. TH&B 77 would be taken out of service due to engine damage in December 1984, 401 would suffer an electrical failure in January 1985, and 403 would run until being sent for rebuilt in October 1987. All retired units were stored at CP's John St. Roundhouse before being sent to Angus Shops in Montreal for rebuilding into CP 1680-series yard units.
