Sign of the times. The condition of the sign in Galt pretty much illustrates the condition of the St. L&H at the time. Galt was a good place to visit back then, at a time before Wolverton was expanded. There was usually a set of units kept here for the run up to Toyota and Kitchener. Today a number of the yard tracks have been cut while others have been removed. This day the London pick up only went as far as Galt and was using the wye. Pairs of SD40’s were the most common power for the time and often went ignored. That would not be the case today I’m sure.

  1. You probably remember a very similar sign at Woodstock. I had forgotten this one.

  2. I believe I framed that one a few times too.
