The westbound “International” to Chicago, Illinois from Toronto, Ontario is making its station stop at Weber Street in Kitchener, Ontario on the CN Guelph Subdivision. Train #85 is powered by Amtrak F40PH 287, which will soon continue on to Stratford. At this time, 85 was scheduled in the morning at Kitchener at 09:34, not long after #84, which was due at 09:06, requiring both trains to have a morning meet not far out of the city.

    Would that have been a Mosborough meet? Breslau siding was gone by this time, correct?

    No Breslau was still there at this time. Meets were common at Petersburg, Mosborough and Breslau still for the morning trains. And Kitchener too.

    Lots of sidings were used for meets into the 2000′s. I’ve heard meets in Rockcut.. but slowly and surely more and more sidings were removed from service (Breslau, Mosborough examples)
