Caption: A busy street scene in downtown Toronto has TTC PCC 4314 (A6-class, CC&F 1947) heading westbound on College Street pulling up to the island stop at Bathurst Street, operating on the Carlton route for High Park Loop.
Some of the old fashioned signs and businesses visible along this stretch of College include Orsner Variety & Gifts, Quartet Restaurant, Mars Food, The Grace Rance, Imperial Oil (ESSO) garage, Victoria Billiards, and Orbit Furniture. The clock tower belongs to historic Toronto Fire Station #315. The Peoples Credit Jewellers sign sits prominently in the background at Spadina and College, by the large CAMH building near the University of Toronto campus.
