During a pleasant spring day, CP SW1200RS 8161 and GP7u 1501 briefly pause across from the Galt, Ontario station. Shortly the veteran crew of the morning Galt Job, would continue their switching duties around the yard. During the mid-90’s with traffic increasing from the nearby Toyota facility, CP began assigning GP7u’s to Galt to be paired with an SW1200RS. Prior to this, Galt was typically only exclusively assigned pairs of pups to work the former electric lines trackage.
