Caption: During a May afternoon over 22 years ago, GEXR train 433 with 3843 and LLPX 2263 is pictured meeting CP T72 from Galt at South South Jct. in Kitchener, Ontario. The CP job is powered by GP38-2’s 3038 and 3096. At the time, GEXR train 433 was a dedicated train that operated daily during the week to service the Budd Plant in Kitchener on the Huron Park Spur. After lifting the loaded automotive frame cars and setting-off empty flats, they would depart on the Guelph Subdivision for CN’s yard at London East where they would interchange traffic.
