“Return to Temagami Ontario When Empty” stamped on CN "barrel" ore car #346074 is still visible as the iron-ore hopper awaits the scrappers torch at the CN S Yard in Vaughan, Ontario. The car was one of hundreds of freight cars that were scrapped at the yard, which was located at MacMillan Yard near the Highway 7 overpass. Today the yard is long gone, and the site is part of a large transload facility.

  3. I loved seeing the unit trains coming into DOFASCO in 1988… Canadian Steel being made with Canadian ore..
