Me thinks the third unit is 9572. I’m impressed you’re still finding goodies as you approach 2300 images! Good stuff.
Mr. Smith: Methinks me made a stupid mistake, and you are right. But of course. A Conrail junkie knows. (my proof-reading skills have gone awol)
Thanks. Hopefully someone will correct this !
Thanks, whoever, for the third unit number correction to 9572.
F E always had something interesting…

Transfers always have some of the most interesting lashups, great capture Arnold!
Lovely, For now, I enjoy that this location has changed little since this photo was taken (ignoring what is behind you of course)
Great photo and memories – please keep posting these gems Mr. Mooney. I worked at Frontier for a month in late 1988.
And somewhere back in that time BCOL units were going to Frontier for distribution elsewhere. I was sitting right by the road writing my notes and a cop come up to my window with his hand on his gun holster asking me what I was doing. Trespassing was taken rather seriously even back then. Snarly devil.
I should add, Cam; I appreciate your kind comments. Am wondering if you have seen some of the Fort Erie images I posted 5 or so years back. I’ve pretty much exhausted my supply.

I will check them out for sure, thanks – I always liked your fantastic Niagara Falls pics – That’s what got me motivated to get my slides out and scan them. Time flies for sure…
