  1. Sorry Arn, but this photo is Chatham in the Sand track.

  2. THANKS, BEM’r. I wasn’t sure but figured it had to be St. Thomas since I was always going there and the photo was not marked.

  3. Still very nice! Not many people ventured to Chatham.

  4. I updated location and GPS for y’all

  5. Thank you.
I just gathered it was St. Thomas because I really can’t remember going into Chatham, but of course I must have.

  6. Lots of people visited Chatham, and why not !?
Three railroads all interchanging with each other. And a time warp into the 1980s as far as older power is concerned.
The photo is a little on the close or ‘tight’ angle but the one big clue for being anywhere but St. Thomas is the bungalow on the right, which was located at the CN Chatham Sub diamond.

  7. thank you Bruce!!

I still enjoy that I was there in 2005 and CSX was still parking power near this very spot for the D724 job, usually only for a few hours, or sometimes a day or two, since it all came from Sarnia in that timeframe. Some things didn’t change until the very end.
