    Still there still with that “canadian operation only” on the sides.

    Norfolk Southern didn’t have engine breaks that were compliant with Canadian regulations, so they had to run their trains with cabooses that had the right controls through the late 1990s, resulting in these “Canuck Cabs”. Eventually they started borrowing CP SD40-2s to get around it.
