VIA 82 departs from Brantford while the engineer on CN 580 ties down their power. Typically, 580 is out of town earlier on Fridays so they can finish up early, but there may have been a foreman or a late running CN 501 on the Hagersville Sub. that didn't allow them to leave the yard when they wanted to. In the background, scaffolding for the multi-year restoration of the 1905-built station can be seen above the trains.
