Caption: GO Transit F59PH 536 slingshots past on the tail end of train #269, the last evening Union-Bramalea train, on the final push to Bramalea at sunset. The head-end is approaching Halwest (junction with the Halton Sub, and the Mississauga-Brampton boundary line along the hydro corridor), but it should be a straight shot from the Weston Sub onto the Bramalea commuter lead (Platform 3) to unload and deadhead back to Toronto empty. The train is on time out of Malton, and the commuters are happy.

Torbram Road was home to the most horrible, decrepit, poorly-maintained and rut-plagued multi-track grade crossing in Peel Region, here where the CN Weston Sub crossed. Years of pounding by heavy truck traffic had taken their toll, and the tire ruts were so bad you had to crawl over the crossing if you valued your vehicle's suspension and keeping your spine intact. All of this was turned into a big hole in the ground a few years later when Metrolinx, who became owner of the Weston Sub in 2009, grade-separated Torbram Road (you can't get this shot anymore!). GO 536 was sold to RB Leasing, and eventually converted into a control cab for NC-DOT in North Carolina (RNCX 101).
