Caption: When wandering out to St. Thomas (for lunch) and back, I usually do not see much of anything. It was a surprise to hear a horn in the distance as I left the restaurant, and got ahead of this eastbound train at New Sarum, as it came up to Belmont Rd (Hwy 74). The former GTW GP9R is now in GIO dress, as I suppose most fans around Southern Ontario know.
The line is the St. Thomas, Alymer and Tillsonburg Rwy, a division of GIO. Image taken at mile 113.56, Cayuga Spur. (so reads the info on the silver box!)

Nice catch! Sad this was once a busier line that was built to compete with its US competitor, Michigan Central through SW Ontario.
