I remember those former coaches well working Student Summer Jobs on the Extra Gangs at CN.
The windows suggest possibly an old T-series sleeper. Sister car 411249 was ex-”Trapper”, this one may have been converted around the same time.
What a great well-lit shot of that old heavyweight boarding car!
My records indicate CP 411250, CP Car Type Code WBS Boarding Car, is ex-Explorer, Pullman built 8-1-2 Sleeper.
It was converted to OCS Gang Service in August 1959.
Like Terry, I remember living in those old cars in 1969, 1970, and 1971 while working as a summer student on various CN extra gangs.
They were so hot in the summer!
