Inspired by Elizabeth A. Wilmore's photo from one of her publications, I decided to replicate her beautiful 3/4 angled shot of the old Grand Trunk station. But, sadly the future of this building was looking quite bleak on this cold March day. Both VIA and a commercial business had closed up shop, and left the station all closed up. A shame really. However, along came the the Grenville County Historical Society needing a new home. Through countless volunteer hours, they have rejuvenated this once busy station, and have called it home since 2007. Well worth a visit, if you're ever going by. Still a great spot for railfanning too!

    I see ‘auto correct’ made a mess of Elizabeth Willmot’s name.
    All those years out shooting stations and I only met her once. Nice lady.
    And a nice image at Prescott, too !!
