  1. That configuration for the crossing signals reminds me of Main Steet, Atwood ON, on CN’s Kincardine Sub.

Great photo to tie in the Cargill facility. I would later catch:

1400 at St. Thomas , and just two years after, we would photograph and chase OSR 1401 at Woodstock

  2. And here I am thinking I won’t see a “new” osr angle i’ve never seen before – and here it is.

Not only did you pull off an angle rarely seen (the train usually goes by here when the sun is on the other side) you did it with of course, a bang up and rare lashup even for that timeframe – and with the business car to boot.

Nicely done! It wasn’t very often the pair would be seen together as 1400 was troublesome with compressor issues most of the time. 6508 was usually in there instead.

  3. Well, thankee, lad.
I am wondering if Cargill is still there….

  4. Yes but it’s not cargill. The sign is down and the building somewhat modified as the belts/chutes are all removed.

If only this place still used rail service!

  5. There was a ‘dead line’ here at one point too. Has all been removed, or still rusting away?

  6. Should have been visible in this image, Todd.
Three units. Probably moved out by this time.

  7. Most of it is gone. I think there is one parts hulk left.
