Caption: Flying through Liverpool just before 0700, a second CN L546 returns to CN rails from the Metrolinx portion of the Kingston Sub with heritage equipment for RERA Canada, all from the defunct York Durham Heritage Railway operation. The overnight movement had lifted the equipment from Lincolnville during the night, and shortly would terminate at Oshawa for remarshalling. Movement to Mac Yard would follow later this evening before splitting the equipment up for the respective destinations of North Bay, ON, Kronau, Saskatchewan, and a single car to the Roanoke Chapter of the NRHS.

Great photo Jacob. I’d almost consider this to be a ‘funera’ train, since the YDHR no longer exists.
Thanks, Todd. One could also argue it is the “birth” of RERA outside of YDHR territory.
Stewart Southern is getting a fresh batch of cutups.
