7027 and 7029 were two of the last SW1200s (perhaps the last two) in the black switcher paint scheme, lasting into late 1973 or early 1974 and assigned to the Toronto area.
From what I can see in the photo, every switch has a lantern on top. It was neat working graveyards back then, with all the green and yellows glowing. Depending where you were red, blue and purple were also to be seen.
I’m still digging the cigarette billboard. Lol.
